- Robust outlook could set new records
Even though the US presidential election is fading into the rearview mirror, it doesn’t mean markets will be starved for action over the coming week.
Despite a relatively light macroeconomic calendar, markets are eager to get the latest earnings outlook from the world’s largest company – Nvidia.
Given its market cap of US$3.5 trillion, the market’s reaction to Nvidia’s earnings is bound to move the broader US500 and NAS100 stock indexes as well.

Wednesday, November 20th: NAS100, US500 await Nvidia 3Q earnings (after US markets close)
Depending on what Nvidia’s C-suite conveys about its past and future earnings, shares of the world’s largest company are forecasted to move 8.8%, up or down, when US markets reopen on Thursday.
Its Hopper GPUs are expected to deliver better-than-expected revenue in the previous (Q3 2024) and present (Q4 2024) quarters, while the much-hyped Blackwell GPUs are set to power Nvidia’s in the years ahead.
A robust earnings outlook could propel the US500 and NAS100, and Nvidia’s shares, to new record highs!
